war pigs

a gameplay wad for gzdoom and uzdoom

originally starting development back in the summer of 2020 war pigs is a standard weapons mod that adds 12 new weapons to the game, it started off as a personal mod for a sci-fi universe I was working on at the time it was originally released in august of 2022 but pulled in 2023 due to me being embarrassed by the dog shit writing for the lore and not being happy with the over all product, but after a couple of years of people asking me to released it, I decided to bring it back for all to enjoy

your weapons:

close quarters combat
these are your bare fist, they'll fine against the lesser enemies but not ideal for some of the harder enemies
steel bare claws
heavy metal gauntlets that give your fist more of a punch how ever due to their weight they are slower then your bare fist

M3 Talon pistol
the standard combat pistol of the confederate armed forces ,perfect for when your in a bind this weapon can be dual welded if you find 2 talon pistols (alternative fire button)

Hyperion Combat Shotgun
your typical pump action shotgun nothing much more to say
riotgun
a full auto shotgun that fires it's ammo in quick succession perfect for crowd control

 
tmp-32 (tacticool machine pistol 32) the tactical machine pistol fires the same ammo as the talon pistol at a rapid pace this weapon can be dual welded if you find 2 tmps (alternative fire button)

BAR-23 (battle armalite rifle 23)
it's more powerful then the tmp however it's rate of fire is a bit slower you can aim down the sight for a more accurate sight (alternative fire button)

grenade launcher
a pump action grenade launcher similar to the china lake
TRL-6 (tacticool rocket launcher mk 6)
your typical rocket launcher that can fire heat seeking missiles if you can find the heat seeking cards for them (alternative fire button)

heavy dakker canon
a powerful minigun that can tear through anything however it will eat through your ammo quickly

xenorifle
a lazer rifle meant for off world combat it's semi auto fire rate and burning plasma will make short work of most enemies

fatboy 5000
a experimental plasma weapon that fires a devastation projectile that while in the air fires a flurry of projectiles to soften surrounding targets

power-ups and equipment:

life sphere
it's just the soulsphere with a fancy new look and sound

angel sphere
it's just the megaphere with a fancy new look and sound

bio sphere
it's just the radsuit with a fancy new look and sound

time sphere
a usable power up that freezes time for a short bit

death sphere
a usable power up that makes all weapons do twice as much damage

Melee sphere
all melee weapons do twice as much damage and are twice as fast

protection sphere
gives you Invulnerability and will deflect enemy projectiles

deployable sentry
it's exactly what it says on the tin a deployable sentry to help take care of enemies
 
back up beacon
an emergency back up beacon, that spawns 3 friendly marines armed with either armalite rifles, pistols or shotguns
